Do you want to create an online concept map on a topic but don't know where to start? Do you want to go deeper into a topic but lack ideas?
Algor Education is the first web application that allows you to create online concept maps automatically from text. With the new Quick Map feature you can go from a simple phrase or keyword to your map in just a few clicks.
Choose a topic you want to go deeper into, our algorithm will guide you through the creation of the map by automatically suggesting the main concepts.
How does the Algor Quick Map work? Follow these 5 easy steps:
If you already have an Algor Education account, simply log in from your PC or tablet with any browser. If not, create a new personal account at app.algoreducation.com. If you have a Google account, you can sign up in a few clicks.
Once logged in, you will find yourself on the Algor Education home screen, where you can see the material (concept maps and documents) organised in folders. When you click on the button with the little robot "+ Quick Map", you will be asked to enter a topic on which to create your concept map. Choose the topic carefully, as it will be the main topic of your map.

Once you have chosen the main topic of your concept map, just type it in. Just type a short phrase or a keyword (such as the name of an event, a historical figure, the title of a work, etc.) in the space provided. Then click on the orange "Create" button to automatically obtain a first draft of the map with the key questions.

In a few seconds, Algor will provide you with the first level of the concept map with the key questions to ask yourself about the topic. If you want to add more questions, you can do so by creating a child node from the title (by clicking the "+" button) with another "handwritten" question. Don't forget to add the final question mark "?".

At this point, Algor helps you answer the generated questions by automatically suggesting answers. Just point to the node with the question you are interested in (e.g. "What were the main causes of World War I?") and click on the button with the little robot and the '+' symbol. You will automatically get ideas for answering the question in the form of map nodes.

You can further develop your concept map by answering the other questions. The process is the same, select the node with the question you want to answer and click on the robot icon to get ideas and suggested answers. Each request to the algorithm (each click on the robot) will cost you 2 AI credits.
Remember that with Algor Education you can customise your map in our collaborative editor with nodes written by you or with other multimedia elements: you can insert images, videos, links to web resources. You can also collaborate in real time with other users, extract information from their PDFs, use speech synthesis and go from document to map in a few clicks.
Making online concept maps on any topic with Algor Education's Quick Map is easy, fast and fun. Algor's hints will help you come up with the main questions on your chosen topic and guide you to answer them correctly. A unique support that does not replace studying, but is designed to stimulate creativity and unleash new ideas to create the nodes of your map.
If you subscribe to the Pro Plan, you'll get 700 AI credits per month to create maps automatically, plus all of Algor Education's premium features. Try it free for 7 days!
